Volunteers In Public Schools Giving our young people the best education possible is a great investment in the future of our community and nation. We hope you will want to become a member of V.I.P.S. and help us achieve our goal. We would like volunteers to have a positive impact on our students and staff and to develop satisfactory relationships to make your experience very rewarding.
Each campus will have a volunteer team composed of the principal, who is the team leader, teachers, volunteers and the Community Services Coordinator.
Volunteers need to be dependable, maintain confidentiality, follow directions, maintain a positive attitude and ask questions when necessary.
Volunteers will be asked to complete an agreement form, a general information form and a criminal history information application. (All CISD employees complete the criminal history form and volunteers need to complete this for the safety of our students and staff.)
